Prof MAB Fakorede​

Morakinyo Abiodun Bamidele FAKOREDE was born on 1^st January 1949. He passed WASCE with Grade 1, and B.Sc. (Agric.) in 1971 with 2¹. He was a Research Assistant at IITA, and went to Iowa State University for Masters (1975) and Ph.D (1977) degrees. He served OAU for 42 years and retired on 1^st January 2019 at the age of 70 years. He became a full Professor in 1987, won  several Fellowships and Awards, trained many Bachelor, Masters, and Ph.D students some of who are VCs today. He has visited many countries, and has written many papers and books.
