Dr. Babatope Samuel Ajayo is a distinguished Crop Molecular Geneticist and Breeder, currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU), China. He has a strong academic background and holds a First Class Honors Bachelor and Master of Science in Crop Science, both from leading institutions in Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D. in Crop Molecular Genetics and Breeding at SAU. Dr. Ajayo has consistently demonstrated excellence and received many awards, including Outstanding University Scholar Awards, prestigious scholarships and fellowships, and competitive research grants. His expertise encompasses seed development, crop yield traits, plant stress responses, and sustainable vegetable crop production. He is an accomplished author with many publications in leading international journals.
